हरिद्वार: पाकिस्तान से करीब 180 हिंदू श्रद्धालु अर्धकुंभ मेले के दौरान शनिवार को यहां गंगा में पवित्र डुबकी लगाने और सप्त सरोवर में धार्मिक समारोह में हिस्सा लेने के लिए रविवार को यहां पहुंचे।
पाकिस्तान के सिंध प्रांत से 181 हिंदू तीर्थयात्री अर्धकुंभ के दौरान गंगा में पारंपरिक स्नान करने और दरबार संत अजरुन दास के संयोजक पीठाधीश्वर संत युद्धिष्ठिर लाल के निरीक्षण में सप्त सरोवर में धार्मिक अनुष्ठान में हिस्सा लेने के लिए रविवार शाम हरिद्वार पहुंचे।
ये हिंदू श्रद्धालु अर्धकुंभ मेले के दौरान स्नान के अलावा सप्त सरोवर में नवनिर्मित गंगाघाट के उद्घाटन कार्यक्रम में हिस्सा लेंगे। मेला 30 अप्रैल तक चलेगा।

डीजीपी बनने के बाद पहली बार हरिद्वार आए एमए गणपति ने मेला नियंत्रण कक्ष में पुलिस अधिकारियों के साथ समीक्षा बैठक करने के बाद पत्रकारों से वार्ता कर रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा कि इस समय हरिद्वार जिले में कानून व्यवस्था की स्थित बेहतर है, लेकिन इसमें और भी ज्यादा सुधार की जरूरत है। इससे पहले अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक में उन्होंने जिले में आपराधिक घटनाओं की समीक्षा की। कहा कि अधिकारी पारदर्शी तरीके से काम करें। जनता को इंसाफ दिलाना और कानून व्यवस्था की स्थिति को नियंत्रित रखना पुलिस की प्राथमिकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि किसी भी थानाध्यक्ष की कार्यप्रणाली की समीक्षा उसके क्षेत्र में दर्ज मुकदमों की संख्या के आधार पर नहीं बल्कि उसके द्वारा किए गए आपराधिक घटनाओं के अनावरण और अपराधियों के खिलाफ की गई कार्रवाई के आधार पर की जाएगी। बैठक गढ़वाल रेंज के पुलिस महानिरीक्षक संजय गुंज्याल, एसएसपी सैंथिल अबुदई कृष्णराज एस, एसपी सिटी नवनीत सिंह समेत सभी अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।

बृहस्पतिवार देर रात तक विभन्नि क्षेत्रों से देव डोलियों और निशानों के
साथ श्रद्धालुओं का हरिद्वार आगमन हुआ। चिन्याली सौड़ के जगड़गांव से
सिद्धपीठ बरमनाथ, दुर्गा माता की डोली, नागराजा, जीतू बगड़वाल की डोली
हूणेश्वर मेला मंदिर समिति की ओर से लाई गई थी। चकराता के टगरी खतसेली से
महासू देवता और चाल्दा महाराज की डोली लेकर भी बड़ी संख्या में भक्त
पहुंचे।
प्रतापनगर (टिहरी) के बागी भरपूर से भैरव देवता, बगियाल देेवता और अगुनाथ देवता की डोलियां देर शाम हरिद्वार पहुंची। पणसूत (प्रतापनगर) से भी मां राजराजेश्वरी की डोली लेकर रूपराम उनियाल, लक्ष्मी उनियाल, हर्षवर्धन उनियाल सहित कई लोग पहुंचे। चमोली जिले के चोपता चौंरी से सिद्धपीठ राजराजेश्वरी गिरिजा भवानी की डोली और भूम्याल देवता का निशान लेकर चौंरी की प्रधान ऊषा रावत, अवतार सिंह, ठाकुर सिंह नेगी, भास्करानंद सती, सुरेंद्र सिंह डोली लेकर पहुंचे। मुंबई से मां नंदादेवी की डोली लेकर मूल रूप से रुद्रप्रयाग निवासी बलदेव सिंह राणा अन्य साथियों के साथ पहुंचे। इस दौरान बलदेव सिंह ने बताया कि पर्वतीय नाट्य पंच मुंबई की ओर से मां नंदा देवी की डोली लाई गई है। इस दौरान राजेंद्र भट्ट, दिनेश, नयन सिंह , गजेंद्र रावत आदि मौजूद थे।
गूलर दोगी (टिहरी) के बांसकाटल से झालीमाली देवी की डोली लेकर बैशाख सिंह, कलम सिंह, सुल्तान, बुंदा देवी सहित कई ग्रामीण पहुंचे। चमोली से रूद्रनाथ के डमक कलगोड (जोशीमठ) की देव डोली के साथ बड़ी संख्या में क्षेत्रवासी हरिद्वार पहुंचे। देव डोली के संयोजक सुनील कोटियाल ने बताया कि अर्द्धकुंभ मेला प्रशासन ने देव डोलियों के साथ पहुंचे यात्रियों के लिए अच्छे इंतजाम किए थे। दोपहर में पंतद्वीप मैदान से श्रद्धालु अपनी-अपनी डोलियों के साथ गंतव्यों के लिए रवाना हुए।
बारिश के लिए इंद्रदेवता से प्रार्थना
चमोली के हाटबंड पट्टी से इंद्र, वरुण कलश और लक्ष्मी नारायण की ध्वजा लेकर पहुंचे सुनील डिमरी ने बताया कि अतिवृष्टि रोकने और सूखे से निजात दिलाने के लिए इंद्र देवता से प्रार्थना की गई है।

हरिद्वार। आज (शुक्रवार) होने वाले अर्द्धकुंभ के दसवें एवं अंतिम स्नान के लिए मेला प्रशासन ने पूरी कमर कस ली है। इस स्नान का सबसे बड़ा आकर्षण प्रदेशभर से पहुंच रही देव डोलियों का ‘शाही’ स्नान रहेगा। देर शाम से कुमाऊं से देव निशान और गढ़वाल से देव डोलियों का आवागमन बैरागी कैंप में शुरू हुआ। स्नान को सकुशल निपटाने के लिए पुलिस प्रशासन ने कड़ी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था की है।
एक जनवरी से चल रहे अर्द्धकुंभ मेले के नौ प्रमुख स्नान हो चुके हैं। दसवां एवं अंतिम स्नान शुक्रवार को होने जा रहा है। स्नान में श्रद्धालुओं की भारी भीड़ आने की उम्मीद तो नहीं जताई जा रही है लेकिन देव डोलियों के स्नान के चलते यह स्नान खास बन गया है। मेलाधिकारी एसए मुरुगेशन और मेला आईजी जीएस मर्तोलिया ने सुबह से शाम तक मेले की तैयारियों की समीक्षा की। सहयोगी अधिकारियों को सतर्कता बरतने के निर्देश जारी किए।
सुबह सात बजे देव डोलियों का स्नान
हरिद्वार। राज्यभर से हरिद्वार पहुंची देव डोलियां शुक्रवार प्रात: हरकी पैड़ी पर स्नान करेंगी। रात में इनके समक्ष हुए जागर के बाद तड़के तीन बजे डोलियों का जागरण होगा।
योग संस्कृति शोभायात्रा समिति के केंद्रीय अध्यक्ष मोहन सिंह रावत गांववासी और मुख्य संयोजक श्रीमहंत रघुवीर दास के संयोजन में बैरागी द्वीप पर तमाम व्यवस्थाएं की है। मेला प्रशासन ने व्यवस्थाएं बनाने के लिए सहयोग किया है। बाबा रामदेव ने इनके साथ पहुंचे यात्रियों के लिए भोजन की व्यवस्था की है। देव डोलियां तड़के तीन बजे जगेंगी। उसके बाद पारंपरिक वाद्य यंत्रों और लोक गीतों के साथ देवताओं से हरकी पैड़ी चलने का आग्रह किया जाएगा।
दो घंटों के सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम के उपरांत डोलीयात्रा पर्वतीय वाद्य यंत्रों के साथ हरकी पैड़ी के लिए रवाना होगी। सुबह सात बजे से एक घंटे चलने वाला डोली स्नान प्रारंभ होगा। उसके बाद देव डोलियां पुन: बैरागी द्वीप आएंगी। यहां इनके साथ पहुंचे यात्रियों के लिए नाश्ते आदि की व्यवस्था रहेगी। पूर्वाह्न 11 बजे पंतद्वीप के सांस्कृतिक पंडाल में आयोजन समिति डोलियों का सम्मान करेंगी और उन्हें अपने मूल स्थानों के लिए रवाना करेगी। स्वामी सत्यमित्रानंद गिरी, बाबा रामदेव, आचार्य बाल कृष्ण, स्वामी चिन्मयानंद सरस्वती, ब्रह्मरूवरूप ब्रह्मचारी, अर्जुन पुरी, डॉ. प्रणव पंड्या आदि संत डोलियों का स्वागत करेंगे।

Police have been told to coordinate with their counterparts in Uttar
Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi to ensure that the pilgrims from those states
follow the guidelines set by the Uttarakhand government.
The yatra witnesses several thousand bare footed Shiva devotees
walking several hundred kilometres to Haridwar and beyond to fetch
'Gangajal' and take it back to offer it to Shivalingas in their
villages.
The yatra poses a law and order scare for the Uttarakhand, Rajasthan,
Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh governments as it leads to traffic
snarls as well as violent flare ups every year.

holy water Ganga from these places. The people who are a part of this
yatra are called as Kanwarias. This name is inspired from word ‘Kanvar’.
Kanwar means a single pole, to the end of which are hanging two pots to
carry something (water). It is normally carried on the shoulder, such
that the middle of the pole is exactly on the shoulder.
Kanwarias carry this pole to
Haridwar,Gangotri and Gaumukh. They collect gange water from these
places and store in pots. While returning with water utmost care is to
be taken. The pots should not touch the ground. All this is done to fetch the holy water for Ganga Jal Abhishekam to Lord Shiva during Shravan.
